Nikolaus Siegfried stands as a distinguished geopolitical and risk analyst, navigating the intricate web of global dynamics with profound insights honed through a diverse and impactful career. His journey commenced with a master's thesis in Middle East studies at Free University Berlin, where he write seminal work on the Basic Law in Oman, showcasing his early dedication to understanding the nuances of geopolitical structures.

Transitioning to the financial realm, Nikolaus served as an economist at Thames River Capital between 2005 and 2009. Here, he played a pivotal role in managing the $3.1 billion global credit book. His responsibilities included overseeing highly illiquid sovereign securities, offering macroeconomic and risk perspectives for investment decisions, and co-managing private equity trades in high-growth companies within frontier markets.

The foundations of his career were laid at the European Central Bank, where he delved into analyzing and presenting political developments and macroeconomic trends in the Middle East. Nikolaus's proactive approach extended beyond analysis, as he forged partnerships with Central Banks, Finance Ministries, and other stakeholders across the Middle East and North Africa region.

As the current chair of the TCX Valuation Committee, overseeing a $1 billion fund with a 5x leverage, Nikolaus continues to demonstrate his acumen in providing currency hedging solutions where traditional markets lack liquidity.
